Four Essential Accessories for Every Gun Owner

Who wouldn't love getting a little something new? Here are four essential accessories that not only help protect those guns, but can also help you train or be safe. These amazing, yet cheap, red dot sight accessories are things you may not have even thought you needed until this. They also make wonderful gifts for your firearm-loving buddies.

Empty-Chamber Indicators

Empty-chamber indicators tell you that your firearm is unloaded and safe. Typically made from a tiny piece of brightly colored plastic, the indicator slips into the chamber, rendering your gun inoperable. If someone must go downrange, a quick look from the Range Safety Officer or the shooter in the next lane will tell them that your gun is unloaded and hence safe.

When you're on the range and put your firearm safely on the bench, you want people around you to feel assured that your gun is empty and safe.

A multitude of styles and colors of ready-to-use chamber indicators are available at most online and offline sporting-goods shops. However, if you want to save your hard-earned cash for other pistol flashlight accessories, there are so many items you could have lying around the house - golf tees, zip ties, etc.

Bore Laser

Bore lasers are stuck into your empty chamber and can be seen through the bore of your firearm. They offer a highly accurate and convenient way of sighting in your firearm and improving your precision while dry-firing. These affordable and nifty electronic devices are great tools for honing your gun-handling skills and dry-fire exercises. They are used on pistols, rifles and shotguns. As well, they're safe for the indoors, allowing you  to work on your skills while you can't do some live-firing at the range.

Soft Pistol Case

Typically called "pistol rugs," these soft cases are perfect ideal for safekeeping and transporting your guns. With the padding and soft interior, your baby will be protected from bumps and bruises. They can typically carry two pistols and four magazines, while still being able to fit well into a suitcase, a gun safe or a range bag. Most cases also come with a lock for extra security.

Magazine Loader

Magazine loaders help in loading your magazines painlessly. And it's useful regardless of the season or temperature. And why should you have one? Because your thumbs are important! 45 magazine by hand in the dead of winter. Magazine loaders don't just help you physically load, but they also help you prevent damages to your magazines.
